VOLTAGE Group at Gateway Forum 2025: Leading Engineering Company for Power Grid Infrastructure Design and Construction in Poland and Ukraine

October 16, 2025 – Grzybów near Staszów, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland

VOLTAGE Group, a leading engineering and construction company specializing in power grid infrastructure, power transmission lines, and high-voltage substations, participated in the International Economic and Energy Forum – Gateway Forum 2025. The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian and Polish businesses, government institutions, and policymakers to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the energy and industrial sectors of both countries.

During the forum, VOLTAGE Group was represented by Dmytro Nechyporenko, Regional Director for the European Union, who delivered a presentation on the topic of distributed power generation and its crucial role in strengthening energy security and resilience — particularly in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Mr. Nechyporenko’s presentation, titled “Real-World Applications of Distributed Generation for Business: Strengthening Energy Security and Boosting Economic Efficiency — Insights from Ukraine’s Experience During the War,” addressed both the Ukrainian context and the global importance of distributed power generation as an attractive investment opportunity not only in Ukraine but also in Poland and other EU countries.

“The Gateway Forum is a great example of a platform where business and government officials can share their thoughts and ideas in the field of energy,” said Mr. Nechyporenko. “Ukraine is having tough times with our energy system being under constant attack by the Russian army, but it also leaves us no choice but to speed up our energy system transformation — and distributed power generation is one of the key elements here. We see huge interest from businesses to build their own independent energy systems — using their own power generation, whether PV, wind power, cogeneration, or BESS systems, which allow flexibility and, in some cases, the ability to operate independently even when the external grid is not available.”

As a case study, Mr. Nechyporenko highlighted VOLTAGE Group’s successful cooperation with Myronivskyi Hliboproduct PJSC (MHP) — Europe’s largest poultry producer and a major agricultural company. MHP’s leadership made a strategic decision to invest in grid independence and security, and VOLTAGE Group became the company responsible for engineering and project implementation.

This project demonstrated how locally managed and autonomously controlled generation systems can ensure operational stability for critical industries even under conditions of disrupted national grid infrastructure.

VOLTAGE Group continues to actively develop projects in renewable energy, power grid construction, and high-voltage substations across Europe, with offices in Poland, Ukraine, and other EU countries. Participation in the Gateway Forum reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to sharing expertise and fostering cross-border cooperation between Ukrainian and European partners in the field of modern, sustainable power infrastructure.
