20 MW of Energy for a Resilient Ukraine: VOLTAGE Group at the Country’s Largest BESS Complex
Ukraine has taken a major step toward energy independence with the launch of the country’s largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) complex — 200 MW of capacity and 400 MWh of storage. The project was implemented in partnership with DTEK Renewables and Fluence Energy.
As a key contractor at one of the sites, VOLTAGE Group delivered 20 MW / 40 MWh by completing the full cycle of civil and electrical works, including external grid connections — all within just four months, right on time for the autumn-winter season.

Such systems provide frequency regulation and grid balancing, ensuring energy is stored and delivered when it matters most. They strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s power system, especially under unstable conditions.
For VOLTAGE Group, this project was more than a challenge — it was a mission. We proved that Ukrainian engineering can deliver world-class solutions within record deadlines, reinforcing national energy security and supporting the country’s path to independence.
Energy is the pulse of Ukraine. Our mission is to keep it beating — so the country can live, grow, and win.
